Became known to the participants of the Olympic hockey tournament in Sochi

Completed qualifying hockey tournament, in which all 12 undecided Olympic teams who will play the Olympic championship at the Sochi Olympics in 2014.

Teams in groups as follows:

 

  

Group A: Slovakia, Russia, USA, Slovenia
Group B: Norway, Finland, Canada, Austria
Group C: Sweden, Switzerland, Latvia, the Czech Republic

Slovenian team convincingly beat rivals in Group F, leaving behind the team of Denmark, Belarus and Ukraine. The Austrian team won first place in Group D, in which she tried to find out the relationship with the national teams of Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. The last team to get a ticket to the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi was the team from Latvia, which, though lost a decisive match France team nonetheless gained enough points for a trip to the Olympics.
